Who is Dani Faulkner?
Originally from Eastern Shore of Maryland, embarked on her journey in the realm of development over fifteen years ago, transitioning seamlessly from her roots as a playwright to a dedicated grants professional. Her career is marked by a passion for empowering communities and amplifying BIPOC voices through impactful storytelling and strategic fundraising. As a trailblazer in the global Community Centric Fundraising Movement, Dani served as one of its inaugural Global Council members, advocating for inclusive philanthropy that drives social transformation worldwide.
Her commitment to these ideals extends to her role as Development Director at Arts for Learning Maryland, where she leads efforts to bring arts-integrated education programs to students and educators across the state. Additionally, as a Morgridge Acceleration Program (MAP) Fellow at the Morgridge Family Foundation, Dani collaborates with Public Knowledge to advance the public interest in technology and communications policy. Dani's expertise and leadership have been recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Maryland Chapter, celebrating her dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the nonprofit sector. She holds a nonprofit management executive certificate from Georgetown University, complementing her academic background in theatre from Goucher College.
Dani is a sought-after speaker, having presented at prestigious forums and conferences including NTEN, the Maryland Philanthropy Network, and the Baltimore Women's Giving Circle, and most recently at the Maryland Arts Summit. Her engagements underscore her advocacy for leveraging creativity and storytelling in nonprofit development, making a tangible difference in communities. The Process
My process starts with a personal touch. Begin with a free consultation—reach out via email or my contact form to schedule. This one-on-one meeting sets the stage to explore your funding needs and how you need to be supported. Following our meeting, expect a detailed service agreement outlining exactly what I can offer, with no hidden costs or surprises. You'll have 48 hours to review and accept the proposal. Once accepted, sign and return the agreement via email to proceed. Upon receipt of your signed agreement, I'll send a convenient PayPal link for your 50% initial deposit. This nonrefundable deposit secures my time, signaling the start of our partnership. With your deposit confirmed, I will provide a checklist tailored to your project, ensuring I have all the necessary documents and information to move forward efficiently.
Throughout the process, I will remain accessible, offering guidance and transparency as we navigate potential funders together. When your project nears completion, I will deliver the finished product for your review. Your final payment is due at this stage, reflecting my commitment to delivering results that exceed expectations.
