Today’s office location is particularly inspiring, as I find myself at the Maryland Arts Summit, hosted by Maryland Citizens for the Arts. This event is a hub of creativity and collaboration, bringing together artists, advocates, and leaders from across the state. But for me, it holds an even deeper significance as I reflect on a full circle moment with Amanda Morell; she’s more than a colleague, she’s family.
“Started out as Fellows, now we’re here” perfectly captures the essence of our journey. We've both navigated numerous challenges, celebrated significant milestones, and remained steadfast in our commitment to Baltimore City. Watching Amanda take charge and bring to life the Summit is incredibly inspiring. Her dedication, vision, and tireless efforts shine through every aspect of this event, leaving me in awe of her leadership and passion.

Today, I’m reminded of the incredible growth and progress we’ve both achieved. The Maryland Arts Summit isn’t just an event; it’s a symbol of our collective dedication and a reminder of the power of collaboration and the importance of nurturing relationships within the arts community.
