Job Update...

Nine years ago, my journey as a development professional began with Arts for Learning Maryland (formerly Young Audiences of Maryland) as their Grants Fellow, a chapter that has now come full circle with my return as their Development Director.

Having spent the bulk of my career in the non-arts sector, this return feels like a homecoming. The arts, for me, are more than a career choice; they're a calling, a lifeline that intertwines with the essence of who I am. As I step into the role of Development Director, I carry with me the lessons and knowledge gained from my past experiences and I’m ready to infuse them into arts education advocacy.

There's a unique power in "coming back home," especially when it comes to a desk. I have a photo of my desk during my time as a Fellow for Arts for Learning Maryland, pictured below. Now, stepping back into a familiar territory, this photo is a reminder of growth, evolution, and the cyclical nature of my professional journey. Here's to new beginnings, old memories, and the timeless power of the arts.
