Bloomberg City Labs 2023

Grateful for the opportunity to attend Bloomberg City Labs 2023 in DC this week. It was a pleasure to attend an event focused on shaping the future of cities and engaging in discussions on urban development. 

But, let's talk about imposter syndrome - something that often follows me, as a Black woman, into these spaces. It can be a silent battle, one that challenges my sense of belonging. 

Yet, here's the beauty in it – it also fuels my determination. I've learned that imposter syndrome is a testament to pushing boundaries, breaking barriers, and creating room for change. It's not a sign of my inadequacy but a reminder of the heights I can reach when I believe in talent, my skills, and my full self.
