This week I attended AFP Maryland Chapter’s National Philanthropy Day and spoke on a panel about community focused development. A truly full circle moment considering I attended the same event last year to receive an award based off my DEI work tied to community centric fundraising. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be a source for art but never say never! Enter the talented Olivia Libowitz. I noticed she had a note pad and assumed she was taking notes during the panel. No worries, I asked her if it was okay to share her drawings. I’m in awe in the details and the accuracy. From now on, I’m sitting next to her at events, brava!
